Find the right proof for an RFP

1 MIN READ

When an RFP lands, ask Stori, the chat with your company's brain, which clients and results fit it. Describe the buyer, the industry and what they want to buy, and Stori answers with your own proof, the strongest first, so you spend the week writing instead of hunting for case studies.

Ask for the proof

  1. Open Stori from the bar in Brand Stori.
  2. Describe the RFP's situation, the way you would brief your best seller: "An RFP from a US health insurer for claims platform modernisation on AWS. Which of our clients and results fit best?"
  3. Ask follow-ups. "Which of those have numbers?", "Anything in insurance specifically?", "What partnerships can we show for AWS?"

Stori answers from your brain with your real clients and results. If you have nothing for the exact combination, it gives you the nearest real proof it has and does not make up an example. When it looks something up on the web, it says so.

Turn it into a response

Once you know your proof, make the pieces your response needs:

  1. Capability doc for the offering the RFP is about.
  2. Proposal microsite for a response the client can read as a page and that you can track.
  3. Case study to rewrite a project into a client story if your best proof only exists as a technical write-up.

Each one builds from the same brain, so the proof Stori found is there to use.

GOOD TO KNOWBrand Stori never invents a number and never guesses a client. If a combination comes up empty often, for example an industry you sell into but have no case studies for, an admin can add the missing proof from the Sources tab on the brain page.
