Your documents, your brain and everything you make are stored in the United States. Encrypted backups are kept with a separate provider, and the AI providers that read your content keep nothing after responding.
Where each part lives
- Your documents, brain and work. In our database and file storage, in the United States.
- Backups. Encrypted copies of each workspace, kept with a different provider from the one that runs the product. They expire after 30 days.
- AI requests. Sent to an AI provider only to make what you asked for. Under zero data retention, nothing is kept there afterwards.
- Your sign-in and team. Your name, email and workspace membership are held by our sign-in provider.
Every company that processes your data for us is named on our sub-processor list.
If you are outside the United States
Your data is transferred to the United States. For transfers from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and the UK addendum, with our providers.
